FoN - commesirates with Ghanaian Students in China over unpaid bursary. _____________________________

A country is as developed as its human resources, and so, we can never boast of having any better society if the inhabitants of same are not put in that position to take responsibilities and to make positive changes in the Society.

Undoubtedly this cannot be a reality without education.
Education in this fourth Republic has, yes, seen several interventions and progresses in various commendable ways and we need to keep doing more to keep this country, Ghana at that level it deserves.

In the attainment of these,
it is clear also that we cannot do it all in a sacrosanct manner and as such it is beneficial to have some citizens trained in other countries.

This does not only help in facilitating the flow of Knowledge and the transfer of culture between us and other countries but also help to keep us aspire with the rest of the world in the body of knowledge.

Today, as reported by the Finder (newspaper) , GHANAIAN STUDENTS IN CHINA CRY FOR BURSARY as about 30 of them on government scholarships have not received burseries for the whole of last year,  2015 making life very difficult for them. Friends of the Nation wishes to add our voices to that of theirs to employ government and all stakeholders to expedite actions to ensure that not only our students in China, but also Cuba and other countries as well, are at peace and can go about their studies without any form of hardship or whatsoever.
The welfare of a Ghanaian student anywhere is that of Ghanaian students everywhere.
