I am a former President of University of Ghana Allied Health Students Association, UGAHSA, University of Ghana- College of Health Student's Union and National Health Students Association of Ghana, NAHSAG.

I have as well served as a NEC member of NUGS and a Justice of the appeals court of the National Union of Ghana Student's... just to mention few.

I have a vision for NUGS and I believe that to effectively accomplish this for the love of God and of the Union, it is important that I seek for the opportunity to drive the affairs of this Union toward its attainment as President.

1. The merits and demerits of those allegations.

2. Whether or not my existence as an officer of the Union shall be an impediment in the determination of same.

Indeed, the Union has structures and it will be in the powers of the Judicial Board, Central Commitee or a court of Competent jurisdiction to ask an officer to step down. And I will humbly allow these structures to work accordingly.

To begin wit,

"Partisanship is a rancor with serious lethal effect on the progress of every Union" (Ohene, 2016)

Now the only antidote is for us as a people to be able to   differentiate between Politics and Partisanship.

Indeed, all that we are doing here is Politics (Student Politics) and there is nothing wrong with that, as that is the medium through which leaders are provided for the Union.

Partisanship is when you sell you "gumption" to an ideology and become an extremist in that.

On this premise I wish to submit that I am allergic to partisanship and as such partisan politics and I shall never engage in that..(may God be our helper)

With what I make of the Partisan situation in NUGS, I will say that Partisan infiltration in NUGS is the greatest impediment to the progress of NUGS and a serious canker to be bantered????
